UPDEPPO Faculty at GST/ASHO
Faculty and staff members from the UP Diliman Extension Programs in Pampanga and Olongapo (UPDEPPO) participated in a Gender Sensitivity Training and Anti-Sexual Harassment Orientation held on January 20, 2025.
The training session was facilitated by Ma’am Prescy, who served as the primary speaker.
The program covered fundamental gender concepts and relevant gender-related legislation, providing participants with essential knowledge on these important topics.
PSHS Grade 8 Students Receive Sexual Responsibility Training
On January 22, 2025, Grade 8 students from the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) Main Campus participated in an educational session focused on “Sexual Responsibilities and the Law.”
The program featured Janet de Leon from the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) as the speaker. The presentation emphasized key principles including the significance of clear consent communication, maintaining respect for personal boundaries, and accepting responsibility for individual conduct.
This initiative, organized through the collaborative efforts of the school’s Student Discipline Office and Guidance Counseling Unit, was designed to strengthen students’ understanding of appropriate interpersonal behavior. The session represents the initial program in an ongoing series of student orientations.
CSWCD NSTP Students Attend ASHO
Students from the College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) participating in the National Service Training Program (NSTP) gathered for an Anti-Sexual Harassment Orientation on January 27, 2025.
This session was conducted through face-to-face led by Janet de Leon from the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH).
The orientation provided CSWCD-NSTP students with essential knowledge about the Anti-Sexual Harassment Code of 2017 creating safe environments within academic and community settings.
NSRI Non-Teaching Staff Participate in GST/ASHO
Non-teaching personnel from the Natural Sciences Research Institute (NSRI) attended a Gender Sensitivity Training and Anti-Sexual Harassment Orientation on January 27, 2025.
The face-to-face session was facilitated by Janet de Leon from the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH). The training provided NSRI’s non-teaching staff with comprehensive knowledge about basic concept of gender sensitivity and anti-sexual harassment policies.
This educational program aimed to enhance workplace awareness, promote respectful professional relationships, and ensure a safe working environment for all NSRI personnel.
CEd and CHK Students Receive GST/ASHO
Students from the College of Education (CEd) and College of Human Kinetics (CHK) participated in a Gender Sensitivity Training and Anti-Sexual Harassment Orientation on January 31, 2025.
The session was done through face-to-face with Ma’am Janet De Leon as the speaker from the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH).
The training provided students from both colleges with essential knowledge about gender sensitivity principles, anti-sexual harassment policies, and appropriate conduct in academic and professional settings.
