CHK Athletes attend GSO/ASHO
The College of Human Kinetics (CHK), in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) and the UP Diliman Gender Office (UPDGO), conducted a Gender Sensitivity and Anti-Sexual Harassment orientation on April 7, 2025.
Attended by CHK athletes taking NSTP (National Service Training Program) in a face-to-face setting, the seminar aimed to raise awareness of gender-related issues and anti-sexual harassment policies.
With Janet de Leon as the guest speaker, the orientation covered essential topics on gender sensitivity and the implementation of anti-sexual harassment measures relevant to sports and athletic activities.
UPSA field students gathered for GSO/ASHO
The UP School of Archaeology (UPSA), in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) and the UP Diliman Gender Office (UPDGO), conducted a Gender Sensitivity and Anti-Sexual Harassment orientation on April 25, 2025.
With UPSA field students attending in person, the seminar focused on increasing awareness about gender-related concerns and anti-sexual harassment protocols.
Led by guest speaker Janet de Leon, the orientation covered UP Anti-Sexual Harassment (ASH) Code of 2017 and other related laws.
AIT Pre-practicum students attend Anti-Sexual Harassment orientation
The Asian Institute of Tourism (AIT), in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH), conducted an Anti-Sexual Harassment orientation for pre-practicum students on April 26, 2025.
With AIT students present in person, the seminar aimed to raise awareness about anti-sexual harassment policies and procedures that are essential for maintaining safe and respectful environments during their upcoming practicum.
With Rizza Narvaez as the guest speaker, the orientation covered key aspects of the UP Anti-Sexual Harassment Code and practical guidelines for preventing and addressing sexual harassment.
This orientation serves as a requirement for AIT students as preparation for their practicum.
CFA students attend preview of “Ang Dalagita’s Isang Bagay na Hindi Buo”
The College of Fine Arts (CFA), in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH), conducted a preview of “Ang Dalagita’s Isang Bagay na Hindi Buo” on April 26, 2025.
Attended by CFA students in a face-to-face setting, the preview aimed to raise awareness about gender-related issues and anti-sexual harassment through theatrical presentation and creative discourse.
With Janet de Leon as the guest speaker, the event showcased the Theatre 200 Undergraduate Thesis production of Shof Galagate (Performance) and Jesy Macasaet (Theatre Management), based on Eimear McBride’s novel “A Girl is a Half-formed Thing” and adapted for the stage by Annie Ryan. The production, translated by Rody Vera and directed by Deborah Lemuel and Jacinta Pascual, was presented under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Olivia Kristine Nieto and Mr. Rodney Barnes.
The preview served as preparation for the full theatrical performances scheduled for May 2-3, 2025, at Teatro Hermogenes Ylagan, highlighting the role of theater in promoting awareness of gender issues and creating safe spaces for discussing sensitive topics within the creative arts community. The production carries a trigger warning as it contains themes not suitable for children.
UP Diliman Batch 2025 students attend Start ‘Em Young orientation
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA), in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH), conducted a Start ‘Em Young orientation on April 28, 2025.
Participated in by UP Diliman Batch 2025 students in a face-to-face setting, the seminar was part of the first batch of orientations aimed at raising awareness about gender sensitivity and anti-sexual harassment policies.
With Janet de Leon as the guest speaker, the orientation covered fundamental concepts on respectful behavior, consent, and the importance of creating safe spaces within the academic community.
Main Library non-teaching personnel gathered for GSO/ASHO
The UP Diliman Main Library, in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) and the UP Diliman Gender Office (UPDGO), conducted a Gender Sensitivity and Anti-Sexual Harassment orientation on April 30, 2025.
Attended by UPD Main Library non-teaching staff through face-to-face attendance, the seminar was included in the first wave of orientations dedicated to building awareness of gender-related subjects and anti-sexual harassment policies within the library work context.
Led by guest speaker Janet De Leon, the orientation covered essential topics on gender sensitivity and the implementation of anti-sexual harassment measures relevant to library operations and staff interactions.

With coaching personnel from multiple sports disciplines attending, the seminar aimed to raise awareness about anti-sexual harassment policies and procedures that are essential in maintaining safe and respectful athletic environments.
With T.P. De Luna as the guest speaker, the orientation covered key aspects of the UP Anti-Sexual Harassment Code and the specific responsibilities of coaches in preventing and addressing sexual harassment issues within their teams and sports programs.
