CHE pre-practicum students gathered for GSO/ASHO

The College of Home Economics, in partnership with  UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) and the UP Diliman Gender Office (UPDGO), conducted an orientation on Gender Sensitivity and Anti-Sexual Harassment last March 3 and March 10, 2025.

Attended by several CHE students, the seminar aims to raise awareness of gender-related issues that affect the workplace.

The talk also discusses the UP Anti-Sexual Harassment (ASH) Code of 2017 and other related laws.

This orientation is a requirement for CHE students as preparation for their practicum.


OASH participates in UP HRDO’s Onboarding Program

The Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) set up a booth during UP Diliman Human Resource Development Office (UPD HRDO)’s SIBOL Orientation, a comprehensive onboarding program for New Administrative Staff and REPS on March 11, 2025.

OASH, along with other offices and organizations, set up their booths at the College of Fine Arts Multipurpose Hall and offered fliers, stickers, and printed copies of the 2017 Anti-Sexual Harassment Code of UP Diliman.


Pisay Students Attend Orientation on Sexual Responsibilities

Grade 7 students of the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) Main Campus gathered for an orientation on “Sexual Responsibilities and the Law.” PSHS invited the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) to give the lecture on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

With Janet de Leon as guest speaker, the talk highlighted the importance of communicating consent, respecting boundaries, and taking accountability for one’s actions.

Led by the school’s Student Discipline Office and Guidance Counseling Unit, the orientation aimed to enhance awareness of the students’ personal behavior with others.

The event is the second in a series of orientations for PSHS students, following the first session held on January 22 for grade eight students.


OASH, DGO conducts orientation for security personnel

Security personnel from the Advanced Remote Managed Security Service Inc. (ARMSS) gathered for a Gender Sensitivity and Anti-Sexual Harassment Orientation held at the College of Fine Arts, UP Diliman, on March 18, 2025.

Conducted in partnership with the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) and the UP Diliman Gender Office (UPDGO), the seminar aimed to raise awareness among personnel about gender-related issues and their role in ensuring a campus free from sexual harassment.

Attended by approximately 150 security guards, the orientation was part of the agency’s terms of reference with UP Diliman.


UP Jeepney Drivers attend Gender Sensitivity and Orientation to Safe Spaces Act

The Transportation Management Office (TMO) of UP Diliman, in partnership with the Diliman Gender Office (DGO) and the Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH), conducted a talk on Basic Concepts on Gender and Safe Spaces Act, at Benito Sy Pow Auditorium, University of the Philippines Diliman on March 20.

The talk is part of a series of seminars required by the TMO for incoming UP Jeepney Drivers to gain their UP driver’s ID.

This initiative is in response to concerns regarding safety in public spaces and transportation, with the speakers highlighting the role of UP’s Jeepney drivers as community partners in maintaining a safe and gender-sensitive campus.
